Quality Engineer
Career Opportunity! We are looking to hire a permanent Quality Engineer! This person will be responsible for working directly with our Quality Assurance Manager to develop and maintain production processes, quality systems and a dependable and high-quality supply base.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited To:
-Continual improvement in the quality system to reduce corrective actions, re-runs and defects
-Actively reviewing and auditing quality control systems and processes, as well as managing data
-Developing and maintaining supplier quality reports, certifications, and ratings
-Proactively responding to supplier defect issues
-Assisting in audit planning and directing internal audits. Experience with AS9100 Internal and External auditing a must!
-Supporting supplier First Article evaluation process, MRB evaluations, development of incoming quality requirements, data/statistical analysis, etc.
