Aluminum Tag Specs

Natural Aluminum	Thickness: From .003 to .125 thickness. 1100 series standard, other alloys available by special order. Finish: Mill finish.
Anodized Aluminum	Thickness: From .003 to .125 thickness. 1100 series standard. Finishes: clear, black, red, green, blue, orange, purple, gold.
Coated Aluminum	Thickness: .020 to .040 in various finishes. Colors: White, Black, Yellow.
Photosensitive Anodized Aluminum	Thickness: .003 to .125. Used for Metalphoto production process. Ideal for long term durability under virtually any conditions.

Screen Print	Spot colors, PMS matching. We can screen print on all materials.
Chemical Etching	Fine detail, front to back registration. Single color fill. The ultimate in permanence.
Metalphoto®	We are a Certified Converter of Metalphoto® brand process. The ultimate material and process for long term durability under virtually any conditions.
Digital Printing	The digital print revolution is here and no one has more digital print options than QNP. From digital offset to large format ink jet, we can pick the right process for your particular needs.
Industrial Engraving	High speed laser or traditional mechanical. We can engrave large scale projects to meet your needs.

What type of aluminum do you stock for your tags?

We have a few different aluminums in stock such as natural or raw aluminum, anodized aluminum (including many colors), coated aluminum, and photosensitive anodized aluminum (for Metalphoto). Depending on your application, we can help you determine the best choice for you.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

That depends on the production process that you need. Some options allow for 10 or less, while others might require a minimum of 50 pcs. The best thing if to do if you are curious is to contact us and let us know what you need and we can let you know what we can do for you.

What type of file would I need to send for variable data?

The best way to send us your variable data is in a spreadsheet format. Either .xls or .csv would be best.

How long does it take to get an order?

Most orders can be produced in 10-14 working days. If you need your order sooner, let us know your deadline and we will let you know if it’s something we can meet for you.
